Caleb Sigler and Jo Hazlerig Cavitch may seem like they have spent years and years perfecting their blend and mixing their tonal individuality to produce the magic that we call Idle&Wild, but that smooth, unique blend came effortlessly for them. Caleb and Jo, individually, had been in multiple bands and also pursued solo work before becoming Idle&Wild.
Caleb and Jo met at a church performance and were approached about their remarkably intricate harmonies and tonal blend. After realizing that their voices created something out of the ordinary, they decided to continue playing together and quickly moved into a sibling-like relationship.
Previously having hit a lull in their solo careers, Caleb and Jo were just searching for that spark to reignite their passion and relaunch the trajectory of their songwriting and performing and found that in the excitement and success of co-writing and performing together. Along with Caleb's wife, Casey, they decided on the name "Idle&Wild", adopted the new name and identity of a duo and have been performing and writing together ever since.
